A sweet and easy slow cooker recipe for the best hot chocolate ever.
Winter is here so I’ve decided to share with you a Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate recipe to help you get through these cold days. It really is very simple and easy to make and with a few inexpensive ingredients. It’s great for when you have guests, you make a big batch at once and because it is in a slow cooker it will stay warmer for longer.
Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate Recipe
You will need:
A slow cooker
2 litres full cream milk
1 can of condensed milk
2 cups of chocolate chips (melting chocolate)
1/8 teaspoon of salt
Chocolate shavings or sprinkles
In the slow cooker add the milk, condensed milk and salt. Then add the chocolate chips and stir through. Cook on low for about 2 hours or until all the chocolate has melted. Stir very well every 20-30 minutes. Before serving give another good stir. This will make about 8 servings.
