A sweet and easy slow cooker recipe for the best hot chocolate ever.
Winter is here so I’ve decided to share with you a Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate recipe to help you get through these cold days. It really is very simple and easy to make and with a few inexpensive ingredients. It’s great for when you have guests, you make a big batch at once and because it is in a slow cooker it will stay warmer for longer.
Slow Cooker Hot Chocolate Recipe
You will need:
A slow cooker
Ingredients:
2 litres full cream milk
1 can of condensed milk
2 cups of chocolate chips (melting chocolate)
1/8 teaspoon of salt
For garnish:
Mini marshmallows
Chocolate shavings or sprinkles
Whipped cream
Instructions:
In the slow cooker add the milk, condensed milk and salt. Then add the chocolate chips and stir through. Cook on low for about 2 hours or until all the chocolate has melted. Stir very well every 20-30 minutes. Before serving give another good stir. This will make about 8 servings.
